BCBA Clinical Supervisor for Behavior Treatment and Training Center (BTTC)
The BCBA Clinical Supervisor for the Behavior Treatment and Training Center provides behavior analysis services for children and adolescents ages 8-17 with a diagnosis of an intellectual and developmental disability or a related condition that exhibit serious challenging behaviors. The BCBA Clinical Supervisor works directly for the BTTC Manager of Behavior Analysis Services.
The BCBA Clinical Supervisor provides hands-on behavior intervention directly with the child/adolescent and provides training to the parents/staff/significant others; performs functional behavioral assessments; develops, implements, and evaluates behavior analysis treatment programs; trains/monitors staff; participates as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and analyzes data. The BCBA Clinical Supervisor completes standardized preference assessments, functional analyses, and skill assessments in a timely manner. The BCBA conducts direct observations, collects data, summarizes data, and documents training progress. Work is conducted at the center, in the client’s home, and other community settings. The program is short-term intensive residential treatment with an estimated length of stay of 3-6 months (and up to 1 year), and a BCBA caseload of 6-8 children/adolescents.
The BCBA will comply with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts as well as the Texana Business Code of Conduct. The BCBA is responsible to keep up with the literature of ABA and autism treatment.

Role Responsibilities
-
Primary job responsibilities include daily monitoring and training of assigned BTTC staff and daily oversight of each child’s treatment program

Maintaining a caseload of 6-12 clients
-
Developing individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment programs for each assigned child based on behavioral assessment and individualized data and family input

Conducting the initial implementation of the programs; reviewing data frequently, modifying programs as necessary to get maximum progress, and monitoring treatment integrity. The BCBA will adhere to the ICF-IDD regulations and Texana policies and procedures as required.
Providing direct one on one treatment using ABA procedures for children with a diagnosis of autism and/or intellectual disability who display aggressive, disruptive, behavior of not following needed instruction behaviors, and/or Training with families on site and in the home.

Conducting direct observations, collecting data, summarizing data, and documenting training progress

Working in collaboration with parents, teachers, and other staff

Providing supervision of all direct care staff including Registered Behavior Technicians in compliance with the BACB

Providing supervision to Behavior Analyst Interns and/or BCaBAs as outlined in the BACB Experience Standards

Complying with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts as well as the Texana Business Code of Conduct

Remaining current with the literature of ABA and autism treatment

Attending and participating in monthly meetings with other behavior analysts and managers

Flexibility and the ability to identify and solve problems in a team oriented environment
Salary

Salary $70,000 -$81,000 annually depending on experience
Required Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills

Board certification (through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board) and Texas license or certification applied for on first day of hire

Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis or with multiple behavior analysis credits during degree completion

Applicants should be well-versed clinical technology as well as able to discuss and explain the technology using scientific and lay terms.

Applicants should be able to communicate and interact professionally and positively with team members, caregivers, and clients.

Applicants with experience assessing and managing severe challenging behavior.

Job Related Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform SAMA and CPR.
