JOB The Assistant Baseball Coach will assist the Head Baseball Coach in leading the baseball team in coaching, recruiting, counseling, conditioning, and evaluating for the athletic team as directed. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) and related work experience or an associates degree from an institutionally accredited college or university is preferred

1-2 years of coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level and/or have a background in baseball at a high level

Demonstrate experience in training and instructing athletes in the game of baseball

Experience in managing a sport team and knowledge of NJCAA rules and regulations

Valid driver's license

The candidate must not be a currently enrolled at Lenoir Community College as a student
Working Conditions

Moderate physical effort requiring long periods of standing, walking, and periodic lifting of 70 pounds or more

Must be able to stretch, stoop, bend and maneuver to facilitate all elements of cleaning the buildings

Ability to ascend and descend ladders up to 10 feet
