About the Role
West Coast Exteriors is hiring a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales and customer service team in the Sarasota market. This is a performance-first role for someone who thrives on coaching, accountability, and building a winning team.
You'll own the full revenue pipeline — from the moment a lead arrives to the moment a job is complete — making sure every opportunity is nurtured, every appointment is set, and every deal closes at healthy margins. We've spent 10+ years building this business, transformed 1,000+ homes, and put the marketing, tools, and systems in place. You lead the team. We support you.
What You'll Do
Lead & Pipeline Management
- Make sure every inbound lead is contacted fast and moved through the pipeline with urgency
- Oversee the CSR team for speed-to-lead response and consistent follow-up
- Monitor the CRM daily — no lead goes cold, no opportunity slips through
- Enforce nurturing sequences from first contact to booked appointment
Appointment Setting & Booking Rate
- Drive the CSR team to convert leads into booked, confirmed appointments
- Track booking rate by source, rep, and CSR — spot gaps and coach immediately
- Keep a full, healthy sales calendar for all 3 reps at all times
- Reduce no-shows through confirmation and pre-appointment communication
Sales Execution & Close Rate
- Ride along with reps to identify gaps in pitch and objection handling
- Run weekly 1:1s focused on pipeline health, close rate, and GP per job
- Coach reps to sell value, not price — 40%+ gross profit on every deal is non-negotiable
- Step in on large or complex deals to help close when needed
Team Leadership & Accountability
- Set clear weekly and monthly targets for each rep and the CSR team
- Run structured weekly team meetings — numbers, wins, focus, accountability
- Recruit, onboard, and develop sales and CSR talent as we scale
- Report weekly to ownership on pipeline health, booked revenue, and GP
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in sales management (home improvement or remodeling strongly preferred)
- Proven track record leading a team to and beyond revenue targets
- Experience managing or working alongside a CSR / appointment-setting team
- Strong CRM discipline — pipeline reporting and activity tracking
- Excellent coach and communicator — people grow under your leadership
- High standards for margin — revenue without gross profit is just activity
- Valid FL driver's license and reliable transportation within the Sarasota market
