Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team overseeing day-to-day operations on a 350+ home residential development in Glade Valley, NC. This role manages budgets, schedules, subcontractors, quality control, and site activity across multiple phases of construction, working closely with ownership and a broader team of project managers to keep work on time, on budget, up to code, and built to standard.
What You'll Do
- Oversee construction activities across the Glade Valley development, from site prep through home completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules across multiple phases and home sites
- Manage budgets, cost estimates, and financial tracking for assigned phases
- Coordinate and oversee contractors and subcontractors across trades
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications and standards
- Review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and codes
- Secure and manage permits, inspections, and regulatory approvals
- Communicate regularly with ownership and fellow project managers on progress, risks, and budget status
- Resolve on-site issues and delays as they arise
- Ensure safety compliance across all site activities
What We're Looking For
- 3 to 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager, ideally on residential or multi-lot development projects
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and quality control on projects of similar scale
- Strong working knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites regularly
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus, but not required
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
