The Cougar Land Motel (family business ) in Pullman WA is accepting applications for a Housekeeper. Position will be part-time, must be availableweekends and weekdays as morning shift only, generally starting at 9:00am and depending on volume of business, usually ending no later than 2:00pm. Flexibility is a must as schedule changes week by week. 10 - 30 hours per week. No holidays. Morning shift only. $17.25 - $18.00. No benefits are provided.
Prior hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. We will train the right person. Applicants should be energetic and able to work independently with a friendly “Can do” attitude.
Job Duties:
- Cleans guest rooms
- Replaces towels, soaps and all room amenities.
- Dusts and polishes all furniture, fixtures and wall hangings.
- Strips beds of all linens and remake with fresh linens, laundry duties if needed.
- Vacuums rooms
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Work together as a team with our staff.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of general cleaning, use of cleaning products, and operation of cleaning equipment.
- Ability to push and/or pull, or lift equipment weighting up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to climb stairs, stoop, reach, stretch, bend and/or kneel.
