Overview
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and energetic Host to join our team at ChikinJip. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for the entire dining experience.
ChikinJip handles a high volume of takeout and online orders, so strong coordination and multitasking skills are essential. You will help manage both dine-in guests and Togo orders efficiently to keep our operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities
- Arrive on time and well-presented in a clean ChikinJip uniform
- Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming first impression
- Manage seating charts, waitlists, and table turnover efficiently
- Provide accurate wait-time estimates
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist with menu questions in a polite and helpful manner
- Handle a high volume of takeout and online (Togo) orders accurately and quickly
- Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure Togo orders are organized, complete, and handed out promptly
- Maintain clear communication with servers and kitchen staff regarding table status and Togo flow
- Keep the entrance, host stand, and waiting area clean and tidy
- Answer phone calls professionally and handle reservations or to-go inquiries
- Address guest concerns calmly and respectfully
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Friendly, patient, and customer-focused attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational ability and multitasking skills
- Ability to manage high-volume Togo operations efficiently
- Responsible, dependable, and able to stay calm under pressure
- Able to stand and stay active throughout the entire shift
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Team player with a positive, cooperative attitude
- Comfortable using a waitlist, POS, or Togo system (training provided)
- Must successfully pass a background check
- Must successfully pass a drug test prior to employment

Pay: $100.00 - $150.00 per day
