Your New Role
As a Sales Representative, you'll help drive company growth by:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers
- Identifying new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and prospecting
- Meeting with customers to understand their electrical needs and project requirements
- Preparing and presenting proposals in collaboration with estimators and project managers
- Following up on bids and proposals to help secure new business
- Serving as a trusted resource for customers throughout the sales process
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from awarded projects to project execution
- Attending customer meetings, networking events, and industry functions
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities
- Consistently working toward individual and company sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service
What We're Looking For
- Previous sales or business development experience, preferably in the electrical, construction, or related industry
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional presentation and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to identify customer needs and develop effective solutions
- Basic understanding of commercial and/or residential construction is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Valid driver's license
- Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electrical, construction, or building materials sales
- Existing relationships within the construction or development industry
- Knowledge of electrical construction services and project processes
- Experience using CRM and sales management software
