Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws and policies
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages efficiently during shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods such as nightclubs or banquet events
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role; fine dining or nightclub experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs confidently
- Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in the food industry, including catering or banquet settings is advantageous
- Familiarity with beverage brewing techniques and alcohol service regulations is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
