American Traveler is hiring a Travel IR Technologist with at least 6 months of current IR Tech experience for a 13-week assignment in Wichita, KS, performing a wide range of interventional and neuro procedures in a 3-room vascular radiology department.

Interventional Radiology (Vascular Radiology) department located on the first floor of the main building
-
3 procedure rooms equipped with 2 Philips biplanes, 1 GE single plane, and MAC Lab documentation system
-
Team consists of 2 nurses and 4 radiologic technologists
-
Average of 10–12 procedures per day including outpatient and inpatient cases
-
Procedures include embolization, Y-90, peripheral interventions, trauma cases, drain placements, biopsies, spine work, stroke thrombectomy, neuro coiling, and diagnostic cerebral cases

Day shift hours are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM covering outpatient and inpatient procedures

On-call required: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month

Night shift is call-only

Minimum 6 months of current IR Tech experience within the last 6 months

Active ARRT (R) certification and BLS required

Active Kansas (KS) state licensure required, if applicable

Prior stroke experience preferred

Experience at large trauma facilities preferred

SSN and DOB required for consideration

One professional reference required

Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates will be considered

Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Ideal candidate is flexible, adaptable to high-stress cases, and prioritizes patient care
