Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas by cleaning surfaces, equipment, and utensils in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, mixers, and other small appliances, following proper handling protocols.
- Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy items like boxes of supplies or bulk ingredients while adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
- Follow all sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a hygienic environment.
- Assist with food handling procedures during meal service, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting heavy objects regularly.
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or mixers is a plus.
