As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will work within our adult mental health residential programs located in Hammonton, Camden County, NJ. The group home program provides services to mentally ill adults who may also have a developmental disability.
Schedule: Part-time; 24 hours
Salary: $35.00/hr to $40.00/hr.
Competencies:
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge about the role of psyche medication in treating disorders, demonstrates understanding of the effects of stressful life events including abuse and/or trauma; Involved in all aspects of treatment planning; Ability to identify and provide advocacy; Ability to provide advocacy; Ability to provide support while setting clear limits.
Responsibilities:
- Observe consumers, collect data, and create graphs to measure progress or lack thereof
- Create, write and monitor appropriate Behavior Plans for individuals
- Conduct training in Behavior Management for new employees;
- Train staff to implement each Behavior Plan
- Review effectiveness of all plans on a weekly basis
- Be familiar with Crisis Intervention
- Be available for consultation in emergency situations
- Attend Behavior Intervention Committee meetings and Quality Treatment Review meetings as needed
- Attend treatment team meetings
- Travel throughout New Jersey and the tri-state area as needed
- Be flexible to adjust schedule as needed based on program needs
- Complete all other tasks that contributes to the success the adult mental health residential programs as needed
