We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Hydraulic Technician to join our industrial maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems and equipment across manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on hydraulic systems and components using precision measuring instruments and schematics.
- Troubleshoot complex hydraulic issues, including equipment failures, leaks, pressure inconsistencies, and electrical system faults.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting documents to accurately diagnose problems.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and inventory management.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics on equipment using tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters; perform electrical troubleshooting on systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems.
- Repair or replace hydraulic hoses, fittings, pumps, valves, cylinders, and other related components; perform welding as needed in accordance with welding standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze system performance data and implement improvements for industrial maintenance efficiency.
Skills
- Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities with a solid understanding of industrial mechanic practices.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatic systems troubleshooting, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and industrial electrician experience.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking; ability to read schematics and electrical blueprints accurately.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, calipers, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ability to perform equipment troubleshooting including electrical diagnostics and mechanical repairs; experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
- Competence in welding techniques aligned with standards; experience with <PERSON> welding preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with analysis skills to identify root causes quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Valid certification or experience operating scissor lifts; knowledge of HVAC/R systems enhances your versatility in this role.
