DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Performs a variety of tasks related to floor and carpet care. The Floor Care Technician is also responsible for providing a safe, sanitary environment at the main campus and affiliated healthcare centers through the performance of essential cleaning activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional/Educational
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
Good understanding of general math equations.
Valid IL driver's license preferred and willingness to travel to affiliated healthcare centers.
Experience with computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook and Internet Explorer.
Ability to work with standard EVS equipment.
Previous floor care experience preferred.
Personal
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving standardized situations.
Ability to work as a team or independently.
