Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Blending Operator to join our dynamic team at a leading nutraceutical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing processes, materials handling, and chemical agent management, with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. As a Production Blending Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the precise blending of raw materials to produce high-quality nutraceutical products that meet strict industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate blending equipment and machinery to accurately combine raw ingredients according to specified formulations and batch records.
- Ensure adherence to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards during all production activities.
- Handle and transfer chemicals and ingredients safely, following proper chemical handling procedures and utilizing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), including respiratory protection when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production processes, batch records, and quality control measures in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections, perform cleaning procedures, and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime.
- Support warehouse operations by managing materials handling, inventory control, and packaging activities related to blending processes.
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity within the production environment.
Experience
- 5 years prior experience in manufacturing environments, preferably within Nutraceutical industry.
- Familiarity with CGMP standards and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
- Hands-on laboratory experience related to formulation or quality testing adds value to the role.
- Demonstrated ability to operate industrial machinery such as mixers, blenders, and machining tools safely and effectively.
- Warehouse experience including materials handling, forklift operation, and inventory management is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety protocols including respiratory protection programs and chemical safety procedures is essential.
- Previous exposure to packaging processes or materials handling within a manufacturing setting will support success in this role.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
