As a Civil Construction Foreman specializing in Punch Out work, you will oversee the finalization of projects while ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. You will utilize your leadership and organizational skills to manage on-site operations, supervise crew members, and maintain effective communication with management.
Foreman will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance for the execution of all phases of final punch-out work
Oversees and monitors daily activities of employees and third-party personnel at construction site
Coordinates with upper management and other personnel to ensure construction projects are completed in a timely manner and according to project plan
Experienced in adjusting manholes, valves boxes, water crocks, inlets, pour inverts, brick channels and miscellaneous brick adjustments, adjust fire hydrants, complete bio swale pipe work, repair or replace draw down devices or riser pipes
Able to operate skid steer and backhoe
Coordinates company communication to ensure all stakeholders are properly informed of construction project status
Responsible to ensure that construction projects are performed in accordance with company procedures, as well as safety, environmental and other regulatory guidelines and mandates
Other tasks as assigned
Must have experience running crews
Must be experienced in sitework, underground utilities, and earthwork.
Great advantage if you can use HCSS
Great advantage if you have confined space training and air testing
Valid state issued motor vehicle license
Individual must have strong leadership and coaching skills
Proven track record and experience in development of project plans, including work scopes, specifications, accurate cost estimating, budget development and efficiency;
Problem solving skills with ability to deal with conflict and resolve issues quickly
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively work with personnel at all levels in organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment with ability to balance workload with focus on priorities
Must be a team player with a focus on continuous process improvement on efficiency, cost reductions, and safety initiatives
