Overview
Join our manufacturing team as an Injection Mold Tooling Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and smooth operation of our plastic injection molds. This position offers the opportunity to learn mold repair techniques, troubleshooting of production issues, and contributing to the production of quality plastic components. Responsibilities
- Perform mold repairs
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of injection molds and related machinery to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members on manufacturing tasks and ensure adherence to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Strong work ethic
- Familiarity with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments is a plus.
- Basic machining knowledge (surface grinder, milling machine, lathe) or the willingness to learn
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and basic math for accurate measurements
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical.
- Basic understanding of plastics is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly.
- Knowledge of welding practices

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
