Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper with a strong background in Short-Term Rental (STR) property turnover to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of STR properties between guest stays, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Handle chemical agents safely, following all safety data sheets (SDS) and industry protocols to ensure a secure working environment
- Execute floor care procedures such as vacuuming, mopping, to maintain pristine surfaces
- Manage heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or equipment efficiently and safely
- Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately to ensure guest and staff safety at all times
- Conduct manual handling tasks with proper technique to prevent injury during cleaning activities
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, supplies used, and any maintenance issues encountered
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles within hospitality settings
- Extensive janitorial experience with a focus on industrial cleaning techniques for high standards of hygiene
- STR property turnover experience is highly desirable, demonstrating ability to efficiently prepare multiple units within tight timeframes
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to chemical handling, heavy lifting, and industrial cleaning equipment
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines
- Strong background in hospitality environments with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
