Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary File Manager to work with our current team in the proper conversion and destruction of patient files and documents to electronic record system.. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards related to medical records management. This temporary position offers an excellent opportunity to receive a paid education in the the basics of Health Information Mangement and basic medical office procedures and is expected to be completed by December 31.
Duties
- identify proper handling of individual patient files.
- document identification, organization, and filing
- use Electronic Medical Record software to scan and upload patient documents.
- Manage shredding and documentation of destruction of original documents.
Qualifications
- Strong goal-driven work ethic.
- Ability to lift and carry file boxes.
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of following specific procedural instructions.
