Own estimating, sales, and project management from first contact through project completion. This role exists to drive profitable growth, create operational clarity, and support scalable systems.
Responsibilities
Sales & Estimating
- Meet homeowners at their property
- Understand project goals and budget
- Conduct minimum of 2-3 estimates/ day
- Develop scopes of work
- Prepare accurate estimates within 24 hours of estimate (communicate to homeowner if longer)
- Present proposals
- Establish realistic expectations
- Identify change-order opportunities
- Maintain pricing and margin targets
- Manage sales pipeline
Project Management
- Conduct pre-construction meetings
- Develop project schedules
- Coordinate subcontractors
- Order materials
- Coordinate permits and inspections
- Manage customer selections
- Monitor project progress
- Communicate with homeowners
- Resolve jobsite issues
- Manage change orders
- Build relationship with key vendors
- Perform quality-control inspections
- Complete final walkthroughs
- Obtain final payment
- Request reviews/referrals
Financial Accountability
- Own project gross profit
- Maintain budget
- Control subcontractor costs
- Minimize material waste
- Identify scope gaps before production
- Track change orders
- Maintain target gross margin
- Complete projects within approved budget
Key Performance Expectations
- 50%+ close rate on estimates
- Clear, confident sales that create urgency and trust
- Projects completed on time, on budget, and to scope
- Primary point of contact for customers and field team
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years plus in a sales role as well as experience in home remodeling.
Compensation:
- Base pay plus variable monthly bonus (uncapped)
