Our client, a medical technology manufacturer is seeking a Product Development Technician to join their team. As a Product Development Technician, you will be part of the R&D Department supporting Laboratory and Engineering Teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, team collaboration and problem‑solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Compile technical data — Gather, maintain, format, and manipulate laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.
Prepare technical reports — Create summaries including quantitative analysis and engineering documentation such as flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics.
Support engineering tasks — Provide technical assistance to engineers across various routine technical activities.
Execute test protocols — Conduct designed tests, document results, and communicate findings effectively.
Maintain lab operations — Assist with calibration, safety procedures, equipment qualifications, and routine maintenance.
High school diploma and 4–6 years of experience in a lab or regulated environment.
Experience following written procedures and working collaboratively with a team.
Ability to perform test procedures and develop solutions to routine technical problems.
Proficiency with personal computers and documentation tools.
Ability to train junior technicians and support cross‑functional groups.
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in a technical field and 1–2 years of experience in a laboratory/R&D setting.
