You will also maintain a clean and welcoming environment by bussing tables, assisting with food handling, and supporting overall restaurant operations. Duties
- Deliver hot, cold, and specialty dishes swiftly from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils to maintain a clean dining area
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining hygiene standards
- Support the restaurant team with bussing duties, including cleaning tables, sweeping floors, and organizing service stations
- Practice safe manual handling techniques when lifting heavy trays or supplies to prevent injury
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of food running and bussing procedures
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, positive attitude in person-to-person interactions
- Ability to work quickly in a high-energy environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic cleaning skills for maintaining cleanliness in dining areas and service stations
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen tasks is a plus but not required
