Help us make every part perfect. As a Finishing Inspector, you’ll ensure complex, tight-tolerance components meet every blueprint and spec before they ship.
- Perform final inspections using clear, designated checklists
- Conduct in-process inspections on finishing operations
- Verify parts against blueprint tolerances and specifications
- Identify and report nonconforming product per AMMI quality procedures
- Document inspection results accurately and completely
- Package parts following written instructions
- Use inspection tools: optical comparator, height gage, calipers, micrometers, 3x/10x microscopes
- Support other quality tasks as directed by the Inspection Foreman or Quality Manager
- Strong visual inspection skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient with common inspection instruments and gages, including 3x/10x magnification
- Able to read basic blueprints and follow written specs
- Accurate, consistent documentation habits
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
- 2+ years of related inspection experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in finishing, plating, or post?machining inspection
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and documentation
