We are looking for Heavy Line Automotive Technicians with strong background and experience in automotive engines, transmissions and all heavy line repair and maintenance. Experience working in a dealership shop setting.
Automotive Heavy Line Technicians Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair on multiple make and model vehicles.
- Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.
- Test the functionality of parts and systems.
- Perform Heavy line jobs such as engines, transmissions etc; as well as basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks etc.
- Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe personal work bay.
- Upholds a professional image and follows shop uniform guidelines
Automotive Technician Requirements:
- At least 10 years of automotive engine repair and build experience
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to troubleshoot and execute tasks without direct supervision
- Takes full ownership of work quality, ensuring safety and precision on complex, high-risk repairs.
- Proven ability to perform internal engine diagnostics
- Capable of heavy lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and extended periods of standing in a fast-paced shop environment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
