Metal Shop Painter and Prop Repair Tech wanted - Will Train (Plymouth) Someone with Auto Body Paint experience would do really well in this position.
Full time work @ 40hrs per week year round.
Ideal opportunity for someone looking to get into a growing company. Prop MD is looking for a new Painter/Prop Repair Tech for our Propeller Repair shop.
As a company, we provide the best and most well known Propeller Repair Services in the Midwest. We work on props for boats of all sizes. Your job would be to prep and paint the aluminum props and engine lower units and other propeller repair functions such as grinding and pounding.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - ON THE JOB TRAINING AVAILABLE
AUTO BODY experience is a plus, metal work a plus, paint experience a plus.
Some of the tasks you will be responsible for include:
- Painting Aluminum Props and Lower Units with HVLP Spray Gun
- Sanding aluminum with 5" Palm Sander
- Sandblast cabinet work
- Pounding damaged props into shape with dies
- Grinding excessive weld to shape props
Experience in these areas or with these tools is always a plus, but it is NOT necessary. We are more than happy to train you on the job.
