Core Capabilities
- Strong experience managing full-cycle payroll in a complex or growing environment
- Deep knowledge of payroll taxes, compliance requirements, and wage/hour laws
- Demonstrated ability to own payroll operations with accuracy and accountability
- Experience with payroll accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Comfort working cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and external stakeholders
Preferred Experience
- Experience with payroll systems such as Paylocity, ADP, or Workday
- Experience supporting payroll audits and compliance reviews
- Strong Excel skills and experience with financial reconciliations
- Experience in a high-growth or scaling organization
- You take ownership of payroll operations end-to-end and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
- You are detail-oriented and execution-focused, consistently delivering accurate and timely results
- You proactively collaborate with HR and Finance to solve problems and improve workflows
- You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting processes as the business evolves
- You identify opportunities to improve systems and controls and take action to drive better outcomes

The expected base salary for this role is $80,000–$90,000. This range may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
