Full-Time Medical Assistant/ EKG Tech
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant / EKG who is a self-starter to assist our physicians in a growing cardiology practice.
Qualifications:
- Perform all Walk in EKG's
- Help assist radiology Department scheduling in downtime
- Ability to apply a common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Help triage cardiac patients
- Ability to deal with problems involving occasional last minute changes in the clinic setting
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with patients, physicians and staff
- Excellent team player that is dedicated, and dependable
- Flexible individual willing to work front and back office as needed
- Ability to think logically and able to trouble shoot problems effectively
- Bilingual (English /Spanish) a plus
- Cardiology experience preferred
- Transporting patients from the front desk to desired area.
- Get patient changed/ prepped for exams.
- Energetic and self-motivated. Work in fast-paced environment.
- Must be detail oriented, have ability to multi-task along with good communication and organizational skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Scanning paperwork and tech sheets into EHR system
- Assisting front desk with check in process
Job Skills:
- Performing all walk in EKG's

- Computer skills, data entry and medical terminology a must
- Appointment scheduling
- Knowledge of insurance company’s and ability to verify insurance benefits
- Attention to detail
