Many home care cases require caregivers to travel directly to a client's home, and having reliable transportation can give you greater flexibility when considering available assignments throughout Nassau County.

Streamlined onboarding process
As an HHA with Affirmed Home Care, you'll provide one-on-one support to clients in their homes. Your care helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent while maintaining their daily routines.
Responsibilities may include:

Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene

Helping with activities of daily living
-
Providing companionship and emotional support
-
Preparing light meals
-
Light housekeeping and laundry
-
Providing medication reminders
-
Assisting with mobility
-
Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
CURRENT NEW YORK STATE HOME HEALTH AIDE (HHA) CERTIFICATE REQUIRED
Qualified applicants should also have:

At least one year of caregiving experience

Current physical examination
-
Current PPD or QuantiFERON documentation, or applicable chest X-ray documentation
-
MMR documentation
-
Authorization to work in the United States
-
Dependable and professional communication
-
Compassionate and reliable approach to client care
