About the Role
As a Precision Tooling Specialist, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our high-volume stamping operations. You will leverage your expertise in metalworking and die maintenance to ensure our production lines operate at peak performance, directly impacting our ability to meet rigorous quality standards.
Responsibilities-
Construct, assemble, and refine complex stamping dies, jigs, and fixtures to optimize production output.

Execute proactive maintenance and rapid repairs on tooling to minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational continuity.

Configure and calibrate tooling setups, ensuring every component meets precise dimensional and quality specifications.

Conduct comprehensive inspections of stamped parts and tooling to uphold strict quality assurance benchmarks.

Implement preventive maintenance strategies to identify and resolve potential mechanical failures before they impact the production schedule.

Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot tooling challenges and provide actionable feedback for design improvements.

Maintain detailed logs of all modifications and maintenance activities to ensure long-term equipment reliability.

Foster a safe, compliant work environment by adhering to industrial safety standards and mentoring junior staff on best practices.
Qualifications-
High school diploma or equivalent.

3-5 years of hands-on experience in tool and die making within a manufacturing or stamping environment.

Advanced proficiency in reading complex technical blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.

Expertise in operating manual and CNC shop equipment, including mills, lathes, and surface grinders.

Strong command of precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Completion of a formal tool and die apprenticeship program.

Journeyman certification in Tool and Die Making.

In-depth knowledge of progressive, compound, and transfer die systems.

Proven ability to perform advanced welding and grinding techniques for tool repair.
