About the Role:
Join the dedicated team at Management Research Services, Inc. (MRS), where you will play a vital role in the life insurance application process. As a Remote Tele-Underwriting Interviewer, your primary responsibility is to guide clients through the medical and medication interview process, ensuring the collection of accurate and honest information. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct professional interviews with life insurance applicants using guided scripts and questionnaires.
- Accurately record and document sensitive information into our technology solutions.
- Manage conversations gracefully, keeping applicants on track and ensuring all necessary data is captured.
- Comply with Federal and State regulations and company guidelines regarding the privacy of personal health information.
Requirements:
- Customer Service Excellence: Friendly, reliable, and capable of handling all call types with a professional and positive attitude.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and screens simultaneously.
- Documentation: Typing speed of 45+ WPM to accurately record information during live calls.
- Dependability: Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Autonomy: Comfortable working independently and efficiently in a fully remote environment.
- Equipment: Requires a quiet, distraction-free environment and a reliable, high-speed broadband internet connection (DSL, Cable, or Fiber). The computer must be hardwired to the router. (We provide the computer and necessary technology).
Preferred Background:
- Call center experience.
- Insurance industry background (Life or Health).
- Experience or familiarity with prescription medication terminology.

Schedule:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Arizona time.
Note regarding time zones: Because Arizona does not observe Daylight Saving Time, your schedule will correlate to Central Time as follows:
- March – November (During DST): 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM Central Time
- November – March (Standard Time): 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM Central Time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
