Job Overview:
This program, conducted at Fair Acres, has a selective hiring process with limited positions available. The NATCEP Program Position is a vital role dedicated to supporting the development and well-being of geriatric residents within educational and care settings. NATCEP trainees are nurse aide trainees (students) learning to perform activities of daily living, provide a safe and clean environment, gather data on physical and emotional status, and report observations of residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with geriatric residents and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. This role is essential for fostering positive learning experiences and an urge to become a certified nursing assistant as a long-term career here at Fair Acres Geriatric Center.

Hours:
- Day 1: 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
- Days 2-18: 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
- All Days are Monday-Friday for a total of 120 credit hours.
- There will be NO time/day accommodations made to the schedule; the potential candidate is responsible for following the curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Must be on time and prepared for all classes and clinical days.
- Respectful of staff's property.
- Respectful of instructors, fellow students, staff, and residents.
- Keep all electronic devices off during calls and clinicals.
- Follow the assigned dress code given by instructors.
- Follow all rules of conduct and instructions given by the NATCEP staff.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be able to pass a Pennsylvania State Background Check.
- Must be able to pass a Physical Exam and associated PPD Testing.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift/transfer residents.
- Must be able to move, unencumbered, about the facility and classroom.
Pay: $16.06 - $21.05 per hour
