Job Summary
We are seeking a bilingual energetic and motivated Sales Associate to join our team! In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes customers, provides expert guidance on our products and services, and ensures a seamless shopping experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail, sales, and financial skills. THIS WILL BE A COMMISSION BASED SALARY ONLY.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products or services that meet their needs
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and recommend suitable options
- Process transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and cash management procedures
- Manage retail math tasks such as calculating totals, discounts, and change efficiently
- Support banking-related activities like deposit processing or basic financial transactions when needed
- Utilize financial software systems for transaction recording and customer account management
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and following up as necessary
- Manage and upsell a portfolio of existing clients accounts through regular on-site visits.
- Traveling to new clientele to establish new sale opportunities.
Skills
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and retail math concepts
- Familiarity with financial software or point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers.
