Duties
- Provide professional manicure and pedicure services, including shaping, cuticle care, polishing, and nail enhancements
- Perform advanced nail treatments such as gel nails, acrylics, nail art, and intricate designs using color theory principles
- Offer additional beauty services like eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, and hair threading to meet client needs
- Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean work environment in compliance with health regulations
- Engage with clients through excellent customer service by understanding their preferences and upselling complementary products or services
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments to provide innovative options to clients
- Assist with retail sales of nail products, skincare items, and beauty accessories to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology license or limited nail license
- Knowledge of color theory for creating appealing nail art and designs
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
- Familiarity with sanitation procedures and health regulations within the beauty industry
- Experience with advanced beauty treatments such as esthetic laser therapy or dermabrasion is a plus
- Excellent communication skills combined with retail math proficiency for upselling products effectively
