Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of smoothies, beverages, and light food items with precision and care.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders, answer questions about menu options, and recommend products to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions, credit card payments, and cash handling with accuracy using proper cashiering procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food handling and food preparation tasks.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
Experience
- Previous barista experience or background working in cafés or food service environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate register operations.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume hours.
