Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our apartment community and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing repairs, routine maintenance, unit turns and troubleshooting across a variety of systems. Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems, machinery, and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot issues related to HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical components.
- Conduct appliance repair and service technician tasks efficiently to restore functionality promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects as needed.
- Coordinate with contractors during complex maintenance or repair projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to repair diverse equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
Pay: $17.50 - $24.00 per hour
