ADVANCE Education Advisement is in need of Speech Therapist for a school-based postion in Jersey City, New Jersey for 2026-2027 School Year.
This is a 14 hour per week position. Very nice school charter school. Wonderful staff and easy parking.
Candidate should be knowledgeable with IEP’s, be able to write reports, and assist in preparing for evaluation meetings/meeting timelines.
Applicants must have their Speech Language Specialist Certificate issued by NJ Department of Education and a Criminal History Review Letter.
We are a NJ Department of Education state-wide approved agency for contracted services.

Duties:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in patients
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of various speech therapy techniques and interventions
- Ability to assess and diagnose speech disorders
