About Us:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to support daily operations on active job sites throughout New York City. The ideal candidate will assist skilled tradespeople, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and perform general labor tasks as directed by site supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction tasks including material handling, site cleaning and site preparation
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain job site cleanliness and organization
- Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Assist other trades as needed
- Remove debris and dispose of waste properly
- Set up and break down work areas and equipment
- Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers
Requirements:
- Prior cleaning or construction site experience preferred. Training can be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Must follow safety procedures and use PPE when required
- OSHA 30 or willingness to obtain
- 10 Hour Site Safety Training or willingness to obtain
