Hygiene Assistant – Full-Time

Cambridge Dental Group is a modern, fast-paced general dentistry practice located in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. We are seeking a Hygiene Assistant to support our hygiene team and help deliver exceptional patient care in a positive, team-focused environment.

As a Hygiene Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the hygiene department by ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate clinical documentation, and a comfortable patient experience.

Seat patients and prepare them for hygiene appointments

Review and update patient health histories

Take diagnostic dental x-rays (must be proficient)

Assist hygienists chairside as needed

Turn over rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical area

Follow infection control and safety protocols

Provide excellent patient care and communication

Current dental assisting license - preferred

Active x-ray certification – REQUIRED

Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Saturdays: 2 Saturdays per month REQUIRED, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Weekday off provided during the week when a Saturday is worked
