We're hiring a Dispatcher for our Cleveland, OH location!

Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating all aspects of deliveries by evaluating job site conditions to determine best fit vehicle and crew to perform delivery.
- Manages and tracks deliveries through computer internet based dispatching system.
- Relay messages and information to and from personnel and customers.
- Confer with customers in order to address delivery questions, problems and special requests.
- Generates paperwork and prepares orders for either pick up or delivery scheduling inbound and outbound freight accordingly.
- Assist in answering the phones and taking orders as they come in.
- Responsible for counter sales assisting in product sales for contractors and home owners determining customer requirements in order to recommend specific products and solutions.
- Responsible for delegating work duties to trucking personnel.
- Performs administrative office duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High level of experience and knowledge in internet based computer operating systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Associates’ or four year degree preferred
- Minimum two years in similar position preferred
- Wholesale distribution experienced preferred
- Problem-solving and analytical ability
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Technical expertise and knowledge of company products
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively by adapting quickly to changing priorities
