Bae’s Burgers is a fast-casual burger restaurant known for our upbeat, fun vibe and delicious handcrafted burgers. After building a loyal following with our popular food truck, we’ve expanded into our second brick-and-mortar location — and we’re growing fast!
We’re looking for dedicated, energetic team members who want to grow with us. As part of our kitchen team, you’ll work closely with the owners and other crew members to deliver great food, great service, and great vibes every shift.

Position Overview
The Shift Lead plays a key role in daily restaurant operations — leading by example, maintaining standards, and supporting both customer-facing and kitchen activities. This position rotates between front-end and back-end responsibilities, ensuring seamless communication and teamwork across the entire restaurant.
You’ll help direct employees during shifts, handle guest concerns, assist in cooking and food prep when needed, and help the manager maintain a clean, efficient, and positive work environment.

Front of House (FOH) Responsibilities:
· Greet guests, oversee cashier and dining area operations
· Support team members with orders, payments, and customer inquiries
· Ensure guests receive fast, friendly, and accurate service
· Handle minor customer concerns or feedback promptly and professionally
· Monitor cleanliness and organization of the front of house
Back of House (BOH) Responsibilities:
· Assist line cooks during busy periods (grill, fry, or prep stations)
· Maintain food quality and consistency in line with company standards
· Support kitchen team with prep, organization, and cleaning tasks
· Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed
Leadership Duties:
· Lead the team through opening, mid, and closing shifts
· Ensure shift checklists and side work are completed
· Communicate effectively between FOH and BOH staff
· Help train new team members and model strong work habits
· Maintain a positive, upbeat tone and encourage team morale

What We’re Looking For
· Previous experience in food service or restaurant leadership (1 year preferred)
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Positive, self-motivated attitude with great attention to detail
· Reliable and punctual with open availability (including nights and weekends)
· Comfortable working both customer-facing and in the kitchen
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
· Must be 18 years or older
· Be a TEAM PLAYER
· Spanish speaking is a plus!
