Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction while working on a variety of vehicles.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
- Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, powertrains, transmissions, and suspension components.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to execute repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Work with schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive problems
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Ensure timely completion of repairs and services.
Skills
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with dealership experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, including air brakes, alignment, shocks & struts, and tire service.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques for various makes and models.
- Familiarity with auto estimating processes and auto body repair is a plus.
- Ability to perform welding tasks as needed for vehicle repairs.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction and teamwork.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
