The Logical Choice Inc. is currently looking for a versatile, multi-task fabricator that can easily switch between reading blueprints, cutting, machining and welding.
In this role, you will turn raw materials into finished parts and products to create a variety of customized structures that meet customer specifications. If you are a skilled craftsman with strong problem solving skills and a high attention to detail, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibility:
- Ability to utilize a variety of tools such as, cutting tools, welders (MIG/TIG), drills, folding and bending tools.
- Keep accurate records of materials.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and ticket orders. Must be able to determine materials, tools and equipment needed to complete work.
- Perform quality checks to verify product meets customer specifications.
- Operates ISCO’s fusion equipment, cranes and forklifts.
- Skilled in various welding techniques.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good physical strength and hand-eye coordination.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Maintain clean work area and equipment.
- Follow safety procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of welding methods and basic computer skills
- Good physical strength and hand eye coordination. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Prior experience operating equipment like forklifts or specialized fusion tools is highly preferred.
