Fuel4Life cafe is looking to hire a team friendly, outgoing, Cashier/Line Cook in our new cafeteria at SUNY Orange CC in Middletown NY, to keep the lines moving efficiently and help out in this integral role for our organization to keep operations running efficiently!
Hours will range from 7:00 AM to 3 PM, Monday-Friday
Must have your own form of transportation to get to and from the site.
Responsibilities
- Cooking experience when it comes to grilling meats, deli slicing,
- Help the cook prepare food orders.
- Grilling, frying, deli slicing
- Help with Inventory such as creating a list on what food/dry storage items that are running low for the head chef to order.
- Be polite and answer any questions guests may have regarding their ticket or our operations
- Being able to write an order or input it into our POS system if needed.
Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of using the Toast POS system is a plus but we will train if never used.
- Must be able to use a knife
- Food safety
- Deli slicer experience
- Frying and Grilling experience
- Good Verbal skills while interacting with customers.
- Bilingual with English/Spanish is a plus.
- 1+ year customer service/Cashier experience, a plus but no experience is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
