Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Lead Childcare Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to the developmental stages of children, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and foundational social/emotional skills
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports individual learning styles
- Lead daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, circle time, arts and crafts, and outdoor play to foster curiosity and learning
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support early intervention strategies when needed
- Ensure adherence to mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting any concerns related to child welfare or safety
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides, providing guidance on classroom management and instructional techniques
- Maintain detailed records of student development, assessments, standardized testing results, and lesson plans to track progress and inform instruction
- Build trusting, respectful relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Model professionalism, positive communication, and appropriate behavior
- Operate Blooming Minds Learning Center according to state licensing standards
- Comply with state, center and classroom rules and regulations
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), OR Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom management and curriculum development
- Strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice in early childhood education and behavior management techniques
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners effectively
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate diverse instructional strategies such as tutoring, standardized testing preparation, and physical education activities
- Knowledge of state childcare licensing requirements and safety standards
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills

License/Certification:
- Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED (AHA) (Preferred)
