American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging on a Canon CT system, requiring current MA licensure and BLS certification.

CT Scan department reporting to the Section Leader of CT
-
Patient population ranges from neonate to geriatric
-
Uses Canon CT system
-
Schedule of 4x9-hour day shifts, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
-
Backup call required every 9th weekend, with possible holiday coverage as needed
-
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine, or diploma required
-
2+ years experience as a CT Technologist preferred

Current advanced ARRT CT registration strongly preferred

Current MA licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist required, if applicable

BLS certification required

Produces diagnostic images using CT equipment to assist in diagnosis of disease and injury

Complies with all federal, state, and departmental regulations for radiation control

Participates in annual education on dose optimization (Image Wisely and Image Gently) and safe operating procedures

Documents patient medical information accurately and follows patient identification protocols

May act as preceptor for new employees and train students, interns, and externs
-
Assists in evaluation of new imaging equipment as needed

Accepts local candidates at a discounted rate

Radius rule of 50 miles applies for standard travel rate eligibility
