Senior Collection Specialist (3rd party)
A Senior Collection Specialist is responsible for managing high-volume portfolios and recovering outstanding debts while maintaining professional relationships and adherence to legal standards. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, negotiation expertise, and deep knowledge of industry regulations.
We are offering a $500.00 sign on bonus with immediate hire positions.
Core Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management: Oversee large-scale accounts receivable portfolios, prioritizing high-balance or aged accounts to maximize recovery rates.
- Negotiation & Settlement: Execute advanced negotiation techniques to establish payment plans or lump-sum settlements, ensuring all agreements align with company profitability goals.
- Skip Tracing: Utilize advanced investigative tools and databases to locate "skips" (debtors who have moved or changed contact information) and identify new assets or employment.
- Compliance & Legal: Ensure all communications strictly adhere to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and other state or federal regulations.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all collection activities and provide regular updates to management on recovery performance and portfolio health.
Required Skills & Qualifications Category Requirement Experience: 3–5+ years in third-party collections, banking, or financial services.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication; ability to de-escalate high-stress situations..
- Recovery Percentage: Meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly liquidation targets.
- Call Quality: Consistently high scores on compliance audits and internal quality assurance reviews.
- PTP Accuracy: Maintaining a high ratio of "Promises to Pay" that result in actual successful transactions.
- Inbound/Outbound Volume: Maintaining efficient workflow across various communication channels, including SMS, email, and voice.

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
