Position Summary
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food in a timely, efficient, and consistent manner. This role works closely with the culinary team to execute daily service, maintain kitchen standards, and support an exceptional dining experience for members and guests.
Essential Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies prior to service
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely and consistent manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with receiving and properly storing deliveries
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Support special events, banquets, and club functions as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to quality, consistency, and cleanliness
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
Pay: $25.00 per hour
