Responsibilities
- Operate industrial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and dry cleaning machines with precision and safety awareness
- Sort linens and towels according to type and cleaning requirements
- Handle materials carefully during loading, unloading, and folding to prevent damage or contamination
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by adhering to safety standards in production and ensuring proper disposal of waste materials
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely when moving large loads or bulky items using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Monitor machine performance regularly and report malfunctions promptly
- Ensure all laundry processes comply with safety regulations and hotel standards for hygiene and quality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel laundry services or a similar environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry procedures, and materials handling practices
- Ability to operate industrial dryers, washers, dry cleaning machines, and other laundry equipment safely
- Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
- Familiarity with safety standards in production environments to maintain a safe working space
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure linens are thoroughly cleaned, folded accurately, and stored properly
- A proactive attitude with good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
