ABM Electrical Power Services is looking for a Hybrid Project Manager. The HPM is responsible for overseeing electrical testing, maintenance, and commissioning projects in accordance with NETA standards. This position requires a skilled professional with hands-on experience in electrical testing and a deep understanding of power systems. The Job Lead will coordinate with technicians and field engineers, ensure safety compliance, manage customer relationships, and guarantee the completion of high-quality testing services.

Pay: $52,150–$96,850 annually

- Project Management & Supervision:
- Lead and supervise field service teams in conducting electrical testing, preventive maintenance, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Plan and organize work schedules, allocate resources, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Act as the main point of contact between the client and field team, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Testing & Maintenance:
- Perform and supervise testing of electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and protective relays, in accordance with NETA standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant standards (IEEE, NETA, NFPA, ANSI) and customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, offering recommendations for repairs or improvements.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Promote and enforce safety policies, ensuring all team members follow industry best practices and site safety requirements.
- Conduct job safety analyses and ensure that all safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), are followed.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports of testing results, maintenance work, and any recommendations for clients.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all test data, equipment settings, and maintenance activities in compliance with company and NETA standards.
- Training & Development:
- Mentor and train junior technicians in testing techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and NETA guidelines to maintain the highest level of service quality.
- Education: Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field. Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical testing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- NETA Certification (Level III or IV preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical testing equipment, procedures, and NETA standards.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic understanding of electrical testing software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NETA Level III or IV certification.
- Experience with high voltage equipment testing and commissioning.
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies and advanced diagnostic tools.
