We are seeking a seasoned and energetic Front Desk Manager to lead our front desk team at our bustling hotel and convention center. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk/night audit operations to ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes for all guests
- Lead, motivate, and train front desk staff to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold EVEN brand standards
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and exceeding expectations
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, sales and other departments to ensure guest needs are met efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, billing, and guest preferences while ensuring data security
- Uphold safety protocols and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures at all times
- Work within budgeted departmental staffing guidelines, review and approve payroll for the front desk
- Interview, train and develop front desk staff including disciplinary issues
- Be available to fill in all shifts as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality management, with a strong customer service background
- Previous hotel experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with guest services standards
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to lead a team confidently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills, sense of urgency and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and reports
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences that foster loyalty
- Excellent rapport with front desk team and supporting departments
- Ability to successfully navigate guest challenges with confidence and creativity
