Role Description
Come join us in a quiet/low stress office. You will be the only person in the office frequently. This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Assistant in Torrance, CA. The MA will be responsible for front and back-office duties in a 1 physician office. The only back office work is vitaling patients, directing them to the exam room, and performing urinalysis on new patients. Clinic hours are 1/2 day Monday, full day Tuesday, and 1/2 day Friday. The job is 32 hours per week, 8:30AM-5PM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and 8:30 AM-12:30 PM on Wednesday and Thursday. We can be flexible (full time or part time) as low as 25 hours per week. Hours will be fixed upon acceptance of a candidate. Office is relatively low volume.
Front office tasks include patient scheduling, obtaining insurance authorization for visits at the office and dialysis center, EMR charting, phone calls, etc.
